Temagruppsmöte och presentation – Privacy by Design
Dr. Marit Hansen presents “NIS2 & more: security measures without jeopardizing privacy and data protection”.
Abstract:
In theory, organizations have long known that security is crucial and that they must take appropriate measures to protect their assets. In practice, however, this has not always happened. European laws such as the NIS 2 Directive or the Cyber Resilience Act now require state-of-the-art security measures. But not all tools and services offered on the market comply with data protection law. The talk illustrates this tension between security and data protection and shows solutions that should be considered when selecting and implementing security measures.
